Might be an incompatible archiver? Try 7zip if your running it from UAE...

@Mrs. Beanbag, Lielo,
The ABK converter was horrible - I believe AMOS Pro came with a better set of tracker features, and the CRAFT Extensions that were released on a CU Amiga coverdisk actually had a much-improved PT replay routine that did not require conversion. I used this in my projects back in the day when learning 68k ASM hurt my head too much! |

There were two extensions available that could play tracker modules directly, the one supplied with AMOS Pro with the "Track Play" command, CRAFT extensions gave you instead the "St Play" command. They both had major bugs. The Track Play command for some reason seemed to play Pattern 0 eight times before repeating. The St Play command worked much better in general but completely crashed if you tried to play a mod with more than 32 patterns.

Hmm... must say I never encountered those, but then I can't remember how long the longest module I played was!
Still, unlike ABK, at least they sounded more-or-less right! |

Final Fight is one of my favorite fighting games. Back it the days I did enjoy the Amiga port and finished it with cheats.
I tried your preview port and it works fine with 8 baddies with sound but no music. The baddies flicker a lot, but is playable. My setup is A1200 030/50MHz with 64M RAM. Looking forward towards your progress. |

Ok, give me a couple of minutes to sort this out - I recently uploaded a slightly newer version but had to use another computer as my main PC was down. In the meantime, the links from this site will still work - thanks to Robert Hazelby. EDIT: Hopefully that's fixed it, I'm not able to test right now. Thanks for reporting! The current download is almost the same as the first, and just as untidy. I had time to put a cli startup sequence on the disk. Last edited by leathered; 28 November 2012 at 15:00. |

I know lots of people complain about Amiga port of Final Fight, but 20 years ago, to me, it looked fine and played well. |

Indeed, i own Punisher, cadillac & dinosaurs and also Warriors of fate, final fight, in their CPS-Qsound format, those are awesome
I hope one day the inner workings of CPS-1 will be outed A few things have been found out, like the role of S-Rams, Dram and VRAM. Note on a hardware level (for CPS-1 large RAMs, TMS 4461 NL-12 can be bought as replacement in case of failure, but they are expensive, 15,00 euros each, ouch!) |

Thankyou Prowler. Originally I was compressing the files as .lzh using linux. I archived some in .lha under windows during a computer failure but changed back when there seemed to be problems with it. I think the safest way would be to compress .lha using the amiga and maybe a standard zip file for UAE.
