I can't remember which game or demo it was from exactly but it's a preview screen before something. It might have been a coverdisk demo.

I'm not sure, but perhaps Amiga Format gave for free the game Amiganoid and this had, during loading, preview screens about Benefector and Hardcore.

Looks great indeed!
Too bad Psygnosys shoot it down... and too bad they did not decide to develop it for AGA machines as it could have looked even better than the Megadrive version (I'm speaking about the sky parallax scrolling on the outdoors for example).

Looks pretty much like a Turrican clone. Not that that's a bad thing.

Great stuff. Shame this was not developed for the AMIGA
And another example thad I don`t like the megadrive soundchip. Always thoose screaming, metallic and noisy sounds, make my ears bleed every single time.
The tunes are very good. But sound shitty on the genesis

It was developed for the Amiga first (and i remember seeing the WIP article of in The ONE) but it ended up being ported to the Megadrive instead although as you can see in the video, it was never released

So if the original developers CAN find a way of getting it released then there is a good chance we will see the Amiga version too

Fingers Crossed

And in reference to what everyone is saying about it being very much like Turrican, i must agree with you on that one, especially the part in the video where boulders/rocks are falling from the sky and hitting our fighting hero but are its Turrican like attributes a bad thing? methinks NO !!!

The game looks freaking Awesome! and i would happily pay money for the privilege of playing it on my real Amiga!

Is known something new?
Now Psygnosis does not exist, but the rights to the game are Sony, I guess.

PS4 and Vita, better than nothing I guess. This game's true place is on the Amiga though.
