4xEIDE and pfs3aio - compatible?

Recently bought an eide'99 from amigakit. May have found a bug in the driver or in pfs3aio.
When the 4xeideprefs driver is used i get "wrong ablock id" but if I uncomment "eideprefs" from startup-sequence the same setup works great.
If use pfs3aio with the same setup, but with another brand of 4xide-adapter it works wonders. So it seems something is up with 4xeide and pfs3aio combination.

Testsetup:
a1200/030
Sdcardreader and 32 gb sdcard
7 partitions of 3,7 gb size, all pfs3aio. Cleanly installed

amigaos 3.9 bb1,bb2 - cleanly installed.

Make sure eide'99 is in NO-SPLIT mode.

Does all partitions report the error or only last one? What is the exact error, including reported block number.

Does partitions have PFS3 or PDS3 dostype identifier?

After trying ...well, everything (sfs, changing ide, ffs, different scsi.device, reinstall rdb and more) i came to the conclusion that it is eide'99's scsi (v50.x) that has problems with my sdcard/adapter. If i don't use that (and go for idefix to mount cdrom ) everythings fine, pfs /sfs and so on. So there's no problem with pfs3aio. Something generally bugs out when eide'99 patches the scsi.device on my setup.
Thanks anyway.

Could you do one more test to confirm that driver prevents any kind of access to the card?

Boot normally (without running ideprefs), run hdtoolbox (without selecting any device), then run ideprefs, does hdtoolbox start complaining if you now select scsi.device or does drive size change?

EDIT: Perhaps driver gets confused (some variable overflows) with "illegal" ATA CHS values that most (or all?) SD IDE adapters return.

Does ideprefs have option to force LBA mode?

No,works fine. Also,Ideprefs doesn't have LBA-mode.
Wish that EIDE'99 code was OpenSource so someone might have a look and see what it does.
