See? All kinds of rubbish arguments. "I have kids, I don't have time". "I had already completed it earlier".

Agreed that Fallout 3 has less replay value though. Its not really fit to create different character builds in, in the end I had a rocket launcher wielding gunzerker ninja - just all skills high, no specialization. In NV I still haven't seen all the faction outcomes and DLC content.

Weirdest thing. Last Friday I had my finger on the "BUY BUY BUY" button. And then it happened.

I noticed Prison Architect was downloading an update after a hiatus of 2 months. I went through the roof and immediately ran to Youtube to see the update video and forgot all about Fallout 4.

45 minutes of joy later I returned to Steam, and those 45 minutes I had the time to realize I don't actually want a game that is going to suck up my free time for eons. I'm more enjoying quick-play indie titles now. So I didn't buy it at all, nor do I really have an interest to do so any time soon :/

I'm weird.

I think this review pretty nicely sums it up. Looking forward to play the game sometime in the future, but I'm not really sad that I can't play it right now.

Fallout Texture Overhaul PipBoy
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/449/?

Enhanced Blood Textures

Realistic Lights
(This mod aims to fix the out blown lights in Fallout 4 both indoors and outdoors )

Vivid Fallout - Landscapes - Textures in HD - ORIGINAL SIZE - LOWER RESOLUTION
(the textures are about 1/4 less V-Ram heavy than the Vanilla ones!)

I've been staring at the pics for a few moments trying to reason what about it makes the world look so much more attractive than say Fallout 3. Its the added foliage really. It makes the world look more like a version of home.

Finally splurged (it was in a daily sale on a local site). Installed it on Thursday and didn't even boot it up, now that's how you treat your purchases.

On Friday I decided to give it a looksy for about an hour. And now with the weekend over I already have 16+ hours to my name, because Jebus I love the game. I don't like the base building aspect of it at all, but screw that I'm still doing it every now and then just because I can.

And that moment where you just input your name ("Eric") and the robot starts vocally referring to you as "Master Eric". Its the little things. Its always the little things.

There are a ton of mods available for Fallout 4, see the nexus, including for crafting and such

Mister Nexus is at it again. No no no no NO. First vanilla, then I forget about the game, then I realize I paid a lot of money for it (still) that I didn't get back yet and play it again with a million mods.
