One issue of counting how many 060 users there are I can see is you can't count how many original 060 accelerators were made.
After the end of AMIGAs in the late 1990s early 00s lots of high end accelerators ended up in the hands of very few die hard fans. Myself and a few others I know have more than one 060. Meaning there are fewer users than accelerators. That has changed quite a bit over the last few years first with the advent of the 040-060 adapter for A3640, Apollo and Warp engine cards and more recently the A3660 and TF360/TF1260. I'd still be surprised if there were anywhere near 2000 060 users. But I was surprised when 4000 people funded the Amiga replacement keycaps project |
