That's actually almost exactly what I plan to do. I think I explained it on my You tube video, within comment section.

I will release a benchmark that will precisely measure cycles for each pipeline stage.
I will then feed those data to my PC- based 3dsmax loader which will then estimate the performance on all target machines.

I already have majority of that work done as on Jaguar, I have the break down per scanline rendered. I will merely break it down in more detail.

It might take a few attempts, till the estimate error drops below 15%, but it should be easy to do.

One issue of counting how many 060 users there are I can see is you can't count how many original 060 accelerators were made.

After the end of AMIGAs in the late 1990s early 00s lots of high end accelerators ended up in the hands of very few die hard fans. Myself and a few others I know have more than one 060. Meaning there are fewer users than accelerators.

That has changed quite a bit over the last few years first with the advent of the 040-060 adapter for A3640, Apollo and Warp engine cards and more recently the A3660 and TF360/TF1260.

I'd still be surprised if there were anywhere near 2000 060 users.

But I was surprised when 4000 people funded the Amiga replacement keycaps project
