Extensive Austrian Collection Being Imaged!

My good friend TMB has been buying disks and dumping them lately.

He has started uploading some to the ftp.

Please send him an amiga capable of doing the 800 or so disks that SCP and Kryoflux refuse to do!

Scoopex. Generations ahead of SkidRow.

Just the unit, he has power supplies from a500s and such. A600 or A1200 are all that easily work with my program.. my bad, but it is what it is.
He's already spent a lot on kryoflux and supercard pro and many disk drives and many many disks from ebay.
So if anyone closer could help out, that'd be great!

Yodel!

this is TMB speaking...
bringing you

The Big Austrian Collection

disks imaged by TMB for Amiga and for you

which is a WORK IN PROGRESS release and thus will be updated
irregulary.

VIRUS VIRUS VIRUS everywhere! use writeprotect!

I am trying to remove the unwanted stuff,
but if you find anything that should not be on the ftp,
contact me immediately!

look out for:

Blackflash-Trion-Collection
- the remaining disks of Blackflash a.k.a. Trion
- http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/author.php?id=17922

Erik
- a friend of TMB, where various disks of Mike (remember Mikes Game
collection also imaged by me!), Antibyte and TMB ended up.
- http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/author.php?id=14885

Juergen
- eBay disks from Austria, most broken beyond repair

Marcus
- eBay disks from Austria, about half of them were broken beyond repair

Peter
- eBay disks from Austria, huge collection, about a third broken tho

more could follow

cheers...

Aren't we all, hmm miracles do happen . Did any of those users use their Amigas to modem trade? Will there be any h/p utils on any of the disks?

Thanks, great work with the collection

well, the thing is, if i can't get one, I wont be able to image the last 1000 or more disks, which wont work with KryoFlux or SCP...

so it is kind of important

I also wonder how an Amiga would be able to dump something that a Kryoflux cannot. Using raw dumps, shouldn't a Kryoflux be able to dump pretty much anything - assuming that the floppy drive is working and suitable for the disk being dumped?

correct statement. Those disks mostly need to be cleaned to be dumped......

no, that wont do.

but it's nice how everyone knows everything much better without having any information on the matter at all.

Look, the kryoflux can image pretty much everything. If it can't the only reason i know of is having mould and dirt on the disks.

Feel free to say what is the problem.
