Please help me to choose a good USB mouse adapter...
Some time ago a bougth an USB muse adpater, but I discovered it works only with 2 botton mouses... optical or not, if the mouse has a 3rd button or a scroll, it will not be rcognized by any Amiga.
So I need to buy another better adapter. There are a lot of them on eBay, I am a bit confused. Any help? Thank you ... |

I suppose you know you need a driver for mouse wheel and it works in Workbench only...

I am aware of that, I just need a working adapter
EDIT: even because it is REALLY hard to find a 2 button mouse!!! I just had a mouse in the shape of a FIAT 500 but I refuse to use it!!! Last edited by MazinKaesar; 11 December 2017 at 21:43. Reason: just adding some more info |

And what about this instead of a generic mouse and an adaptor?

Well it can be nice, but as you know, a PC USB mouse can be replaed more easily

Not exactly as you still need a USB mouse that contains PS/2 protocol and these are not so common already.
I have not any other advice for you, my mouse adaptors are custom made. So good luck. |

I see, this is something I did not know.
They say this adapter also supports HID compliant devices link Anyway, I think I will follow you suggestion and I get some "real" Amiga mouses (optical and not), thank you! |

The Tom doesn't support mousewheel either (as I discovered). In the end I went for a Cocolino as USB mice that support PS/2 protocol can still be found.

Well, the Tom does work with every USB mouse I've tried if moving and left/right button are all you are after

So it's better a PS/2 mouse and cocolino, as it seems...

Let me try it again, opening the case, I found on the mainboard of the adapter "PPUH MAFA ver. 01". Do someone know it?
