Here's a lightweight distro that includes FS-UAE (latest from git) and can boot from a USB stick:

https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread/30...s-if-problems/

Boot it with the "run" option in syslinux then create /storage/.config/autostart.sh like this:

Code:
while true
do
  /usr/bin/fs-uae.start
done
It'll then boot straight into FS-UAE just like Amithlon. You could even put an Amiga logo in /flash/oemsplash.png to get a proper boot splash.

I build a new one from the ground based on latest Debian with kernel 4.9 and is working the same way as the previous with kernel 3.16.
It took me some days to figure out how everything is working.

Still testing. I fixed some things like no auto loading video drivers for acceleration, re-enable rc.local because it's disabled in new Debian, and now I have to fix mouse because my wireless mouse is not working in fs-uae, only touchpad. I guess i have to change permissions on mouse device (because it's working if I stop fs-uae). I installed lubuntu on my netbook that has all tools to build a Debian from scratch, so I installed all packages by hand from zero ground. Ubuntu actually is Debian with some specific tools build for it.

Later I will provide a link to this test version.

Great work! I might give this a whirl when you're ready but really I'm (not so) patiently waiting for FS-UAE to implement the Win-UAE changes that permit UAE devices with PPC only OS. I'm not sure when that's coming (I think I may have read v3) and of course that is out of our control.

Try this on a blank usb. This is the new one with kernel 4.9, still using scripts from Amilator (why change if they work?).
EDIT: new link

Thanks !!! Just tested: Works for me (Latitude d610) !!! Wlan is not recognised but I've the same problem with the original Amilator.

I'm still getting the NOTIFY_USER MSG #2.
Anyone can explain NOTIFY_USER MSG #2?
Is there any table reference for NOTIFY_USER MSG?

Sound yes, Video Acceleration No, and mouse is not recognised (works only touchpad) but maybe this depends because is a very old notebook.

I need to test again original amilator to see the differences.
