Floppy disk new snapshot available

For those who haven't visited the website yet, a new snapshot is available (v0.4.3 build 1 - snapshot 1 - 2001/11/15).

Hopefully this fixes the problem with several graphic cards.

Let me know if there are serious problems!

Bad news I'm afraid.

Just tested 'State Of The Art' demo and find the sound to be choppy. I do not have s4murai problem thought.

Yes, i listened to the mp3's. Not a good thing. We didn't change anything to the sound module. I'm a bit surprised we introduced a problem.

s4murai, can you post the specific details of your card (brand, type, etc.) and also email me your "fellow.log"?

Well, i tried to reproduce the problem with the 'State of the Art' demo, but i didn't found any difference between v0.4.3 build 1 and the latest snapshot. The demo uses a lot of CPU at some parts and it seems to get out of sync when emulating using high resolutions.

I also get stuttering sound when running at 800x600 (2x hor. and vert. scale), but that also happens when using v0.4.3 build.

Worfje solved my sound problem. The fix was to disable ''Fast Disk DMA'.

Smile to Worfje (or Carfesh)

Is it true that the new release hasn't been announced yet on any of the beta lists (developer list or beta list)?
i only knew about it because I clicked a link to the site by coincidence, strange...

Yes, that's right.

I'm on the beta-team and I didn't see anything of it until I happened to visit here and saw it.

It was about the 22nd when I got it, a full week after release

Phil.

Yes, this is true. The beta mailing list wasn't intended for informing about new releases/snapshots.

Currently i'm posting on this board when new versions of WinFellow are available. You can also monitor the latest file releases on SourceForge by clicking the little letter icon on the 'project summary page'.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/fellow

Hopefully this clears up things
