It's a Knockout! 2018/19 Final: Lotus Turbo Challenge 2

It's a Knockout! 2018/19 Semi Final: Lotus Turbo Challenge 2

Starts: 00:01 January 6th Finishes: 23:59 January 12th

Rules

Post a picture of your score here with the score written underneath. Enter as often as you like. Only scores achieved during the round's time frame count.

Tied scores will be separated by whoever submitted their score first.

You MUST use the WHDLoad version linked to in this thread - as the scoring systems seem to vary amongst different versions, we have supplied the WHDLoad version on a High Density ADF to play in UAE for those who don't use WHDLoad normally, so you can boot it and play it like normal. You need an A1200 setup emulated with a High Density floppy drive and 4MB of Fast RAM.
Scores are halved with this WHDLoad-version. So if capehorn scores 70M it actually would've been 140M in the original version. Problem is there aren't enough digits to display the score. Gremlin didn't expect people to get this good at this game.

No cheating (including save states) - anyone caught cheating gets disqualified.

Downloads

- HD ADF
- WHDLoad-installed

Extras

- Super League Round 8 threads: EAB, Lemon

Final:

64,458,435 - capehorn vs john4p - 53,212,765

3rd Place Play-Off:

7,357,545 - LinesMachine vs Parpala - 23,515,600

This should be enough to win the Knockout - if capehorn lies in a coma until Sunday.

That sounds like a threat, so I've decided to post a score before the imminent assault.

This felt very slow and unresponsive after F1!

I know of course. As was I - but my joke wasn't good.

Don't remember ever beating 60M, I think my highest was 59.8. So it's looking good for you.

That's a good video John. You are not doing much wrong, you just need to string together a good run, and maybe try to anticipate the blind corners a little more on Fog (they are all to the right).

Only a small improvement from me, but enough to make my top 10 list.

Thanks for the advice - that's really good to know.

No time to play again today, thus here is your well deserved 4th EAB/Lemon Knockout Cup:

Congratulations!

There's still the battle for 3rd place though which is really intense this time: both LinesMachine and Parpala show the same score in Lotus 2! Never seen that before. Will be exciting 'til the last minute.
edit: In the end Parpala beats Lines convincingly and takes the BRONZE medal.

Thank you everyone . I got a little lucky with the draw this year. F1 Domark was a highlight, it's really growing on me as a great game.

Congratulations, maybe your easiest knockout?
I would have liked to confront you on Vroom

Good place for John4p, runner-up is still rewarding

Certainly I wouldn't have wanted the draw you got on Sensi. I want to repeat how well I think you did to get 6 wins in a row as a beginner (and sufficient goal difference too), that is not easy at all and was very impressive.

I'm sure you would have beaten me over a week at Vroom (F1), but if it comes up again over threes week in the league that would be a fun fight.
