Having a blast playing HLS trying to make the Nordiques to be Stanley Cup champs (fat chance). Can only save rosters with the version with 1995 update. Can't with the other two versions.
You guys have any success with those?

Was this made before or after BattleChess? And is it better or worse? Worse, I would assume?

Nope, mainly I'm not too much of a hockey fan

so which city are the Nordiques, Montreal???

I can remember Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senetors. Seems to me that there are others but in the Western Hockey League and others as well I think ?!?

I think it was after, basically a real chess program rather then a Star Wars like battle type
