save game?????

hey hey hey

I'm currently playing cannon fodder and space hulk at the moment but have a slight problem as in i dont know how to save my progress!
Do i have to get some sort of save game rom for each?

It would help if you let those reading this thread that you are on winUAE etc so they can better give you an answer

But game saves are not made to SAVE ROMS as on CONSULS , so the save path or point for each game you ask about may be different

I'd recommend using Save States (From within the WinUAE Misc tab).

This way you can save your progress in games that don't support saving

I also created a "custom floppy" 2mb adf file/save disk, and even thats not working... (see my post for Premier Manager 3 in retro games)

During Emulation press F12 and then check the save state button again

Excellent... but then how do u load your game up again??

When u click LOAD STATE and press Open, nothing happens?

Ok, saved as a "uss" file.
When I click on "Load State" after that, it crashed and says "Software Failure" ??

I figured it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have to load up the game first, then press F12 again, then Load State!

Thanks for your help guys.... now I can play all night , instead of sleeeeeeeeeeping!!
