Great to see someone so young into the Amiga!

Good luck with the remake.

Looking good! I hope you don't copy the original's level layouts 1:1. It's a new game - only with Turrican II's graphics, right?

....well umm it is a tribute/remake, so yes..thats my point but if that goes well i will set about creating my own turrican, se I apologise, but i wanted to get the origional turrican 2 perfectly redone level wise, i will add my own personal touches though and a few updates

Sorry if there was any dissapointment

Yes, that's disappointing (because we can emulate T2 perfectly with WinUAE).

Still - since I've played this game so often it will be quite interesting to see how the feel of your "remake" is, how the enemies are placed, etc..

Also looking forward to see how it plays. Like john said : Making new levels with the same tiles would be really awesome So maybe you think about this part again, because a 1:1 remake isn't bad, but you could make it so much more interesting by redesigning the levels

well level 1 would be the same, but i'm adding a new jetpack level, and there will be 2 alien levels
I think i will have to make my own levels as you said, any preference music wise??

I'm rather a fan of t2's soundtrack!

I just have to tend to all your tastes

Great that you'll make your own level Now that question is hard to answer, because I love them all Will think about it though

Just thought I'd mention that it's possible to get a hold of Chris Huelsbecks CD with cd-quality mixes of his Turrican-music. ( well most of it)

http://www.huelsbeck.com/cdinfo_new.php

The tracks are of course also available with... naughtier methods. But these CD's are well-done, and certainly something that belongs in every Amiga and Turrican-lovers home!

CD-quality versions of the music could be quite useful for a Special Edition, like you are doing Chuck-Rock-Jr.

Sounds great Chuck.

Have you had opportunity to get a hold of high-quality turrican music-files since last time?
