Is there a WBpattern that understands HAM screens? I can get the screen into HAM8, and have some HAM8 icons, but either the picture datatype or WBpattern can't figure out the picture.

I think that it's already included in BetterWB (maybe from that fastiprefs-archive?) that I have now:
"-Reworked WBPattern preferences with more options" reads in BetterWB features. And it has the "center" -option but it doesn't seem to work.

I don`t know what is in BetterWB. I`m talking about:
WBPattern - FastWBPattern 40.06 (30.06.96) optimized by H.-W.Schober

The guide says:
The MagicWBDaemon causes problems. The program saves ´wbpattern.prefs´ without taking care of the new IFF-hunks. Consequently, the settings Lock-Pens/Center/Tile/Fill are filtered out.

I don`t use MagicWBDaemon but have the same problem.

I look better onto this, checking what version of WBPattern I have. No MagicWB-daemon in use here either.

it is not wbpattern
that's a problem of ilbm.datatype which don't support ham images
even the one supplied on OS3.9 don't support ham8 or ham 6 images

get this one and will work

and please note also you need a v43 or v45 picture datatype

you mentioned in your post above that picture datatype v45.15 was uploaded to the zone, it doesn't seem to be there anymore, are you able to upload?

Or can anyone else re-upload?

Newest picture.datatype comes with OS 3.9 + BB1&BB2. It's version 45.12 though.

EDIT. nope it was version 45.17

I can re-upload the archive but it doesn't have picture.datatype v45.15. It has 45.17 (latest AmigaOS 3.9 version) and 44.19 (last version before 68k+PPC).

Hmm...I was looking around to see if there were any updates to this DataType for PPC, and I was surprised. Know where to get them now? I checked the Zone some, but..?
