aPDF decryption modules

I need/want apdfdecrypt_68k.lzx and apdfdecrypt_ppc.lzx if anyone has them.

I'll upload them to Aminet after making sure it's something that would be accepted now.

Edit: I did manage to compile my own 68k module. Can't test it because I have no idea where to get an encrypted, non-password protected document from.

One year has passed... I'm also interested in/looking for an APDF decryption module (68k only). Any idea where I can find it?

Should we upload it on Aminet? Would be useful for many 68k users...

I say it's worth a try to get it onto Aminet. The issue in the past was something to do with the legality of decryption code, but that may not be relevant any more.

I've sent a mail to the old address of Apdf author asking for permission... let's see, or in a week or two I'll upload them anyway!

Someone should recompile the APDF_68060fpu.module and APDF_68040fpu.module of APDF with GCC 2.95.3 and upload to Aminet too. Both of these modules use many FPU trapped instructions. The 68060 version also uses trapped integer math instructions. That's why it crawls.

Not really the threads intention, but personally Id love an updated pdf viewer for the amiga. I dont really know a lot about pdf standards and whatnot, but apdf seems to only support the 1.3 standard (againt Im not really well versed in pdf stuff, so only know this via trying to read pdf files), whereas a good portion of my pdf files use 1.5 or 1.6.
If there's enough interest I'll port arospdf (which supports more uptodate standards) to os3.x

Would be great!
OS 3.x is really missing a decent (for 2010/11 standards) PDF viewer

I`d love an updated pdf reader - I`d even pay for it
More and more pdfs I get are 1.4 or higher, apdf only supports up to 1.3

@fishyfish: Go for it! I'm really curious how it works. APDF pushed my good ol' 68K machine to it's limits (at least it took a plenty of time to open large PDFs). I don't expect arospdf to be much faster on 68K, but it also shouldn't be much slower to preserve usability.

68k in the zone. Think I may have the PPC version somewhere (I have a dead CSPPC), but can't find it at the moment...

Thanks. For me all I need is the 68k version. I don't have a ppc. I do imagine that I am not the only one looking for it though. Thanks again
