Looking for 68000 binary optimization utility

I remember that in the old days of 1993 or maybe 1994 I had a small utility that claimed to optimize 68000 binaries with some 68020 instructions to make them run slightly faster.
I remember to modify the DuneII exe with it and thougt it was little faster. Unfortunatelly I do not have this little program anymore and I also do not know if this optimization was even possible, or was a nonsense. What I just remember is, that when comparing the exe, the patched one was different. Does anyone knows more?

Yes, a tool like that existed, it was coded by 2-Cool/LSD (EX4 at that time). It's called "Patch for 020" and you can find it on Aminet.

Thanks for pointing out, I will check some 68000 executables if it works and helps.
