I got given a dead Apollo 1240. I sent it to JJ
There was some cold solder spots on the board, three broken tracks and a dead 8mb simm. JJ repaired the board, replaced the battery back up clock and swapped out the simm with a 16mb one doubling my ram! Service from diagnosis was fast - 5 days to repair and return to me! Price....... A little expensive at £62 but as I got the card for nothing it has worked out to be a bargain!!! This price included return postage and a 3 month warranty too. I highly recommend AMIGACENTER France |

well, the damage was the scsi chip pins, he resoldered them, and it costed 100euro. You may think it is too much, but frankly noone that I know of could fix it, so it worth every cent... better pay than have a dead and so rare/expensive accelerator! lol
