An intriguing question to ask about floppy sound emulation
Is it due to sound channel limits or whereabouts that only one floppy drive can have its sound emulated in WinUAE at any time? Because I thought that most games which support external drives tend to only load off one disk at a time anyway, so there shouldn't be any mass noisy whirrathons from all directions!
(Bear in mind though that I have no clue as to whether external drives sounded different to an internal one as I never did have any externals back in the day.) I'm not too sure if I've posted this in the right section either, but then it's neither really a request nor a specific problem, right? |

You can set WinUAE to use floppy drive sounds for more than one drive. In the sound panel select DF0: then then drive sound you want. Then select DF1: and then the sound you want for DF1:. Hope that's what you asked for
