Every day, itching to get to play with Brilliance 2 again on my A1200 (that's in a box) until I buy more ram/cpu card and a DVI card/cable. I miss playing around with colour cycling options among other things

I purely use emulation nowadays, a lot quicker and faster to get started, easy to switch between system specs (including far beyond what I ever owned) and can try out all those games I overlooked back in the day. Plus, what with this battery issue, who's to say they still work? I think nostalgia is part of it - I first owned an Amiga at 10 and finally bit the bullet and got a PC at 15; I was kinda the last to accept that it was over - but there's something special about the Amiga scene - the variety of games and multiple uses for the hardware, and that by the end it felt like us against the might of Microsoft and Sony, bedroom coding teams against the might of iD Software and Sega et al.
