Life before the selection tool!
I just loaded up DPAINT IV after not using it for at least 22 years to try my hand at some old school graphics.
Holy shit, how did people survive without a selection tool back then? I don't remember it being this fiddly back in the early 90's when I used to make my own sprite graphics and animations but it's great fun nonetheless. I guess I'm so used to Paint Shop Pro now. It's amazing the things we take for granted these days! |

And there is even a spare page where you can store different versions during experimentation.

The select (pick up brush) tool was already there in DPaint 1 :-D

There is still not more comfortable painting tool than DPaint IV till today.
