68000 Emulation
I've got some suggestions toward 68000 emulation in current FS-UAE builds.
I initially attempted to get 68k emulation to run fast (like a 50 MHz 68000 or so) but the current code does always select "REAL" speed. How about switching to max speed when "accuracy==-2" ? My reason to set uae to pure 68000 mode was to investigate some crashes with my old programs I experienced on a real Amiga 500 in Kickstart 3.1 (my old A500 had 2.04 where that particular code path was not executed). In this process I found out that the emulation does not raise exceptions for some opcodes. One example was "tst.l Ax" which is not yet available with the 68000. |
