New GCC based dev toolchain for AmigaOS 3.x

I compiled a new GCC toolchain for AmigaOS 3.x development. It should work with most recent Linux i386 distributions (libc6).

Further detail are on aminet and at the authors github page:

There is also a 5.3.0 version for OS4 could it be use for OS3.x ?

I guess the major problem is the AmigaOS hunk format. Newer (unpatched) version of GCC can only produces ELF executables. See
https://gcc.gnu.org/install/specific.html#m68k-x-x

Maybe with a bit of help from vlink it would be possible:
http://sun.hasenbraten.de/vlink/

But this is only about the compiler itself. Then you still need the libraries and all the other stuff. The above two toolschains are highly target specific.

aros m68k target provides a tool elf2hunk. perhaps this tool can be reused here or at least its source. keep in mind its aros abi v1 im talking about, downloads, sources and binaries at usual locations.

Bebbo’s toolchain is a fork of this one with gcc6 support.

I see. Thanks! I enjoyed the ease of installation, I especially like the inclusion of common library sdks
