Arabian Nights (1993) Fish-cave Boss music track...

It’s been some time since I completed my game music collection, of all my favorite games from my childhood years.

Only a few I was never able to find.
One such track is the Boss music at the cave-fish in Arabian Nights (1993) AMIGA, produced by Krisalis and composed by Matt Furniss.

The following sites have 2 archives with all the music tracks of the game, except this specific one

http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Arabian_Nights
http://www.mirsoft.info/gmb/music_info.php?id_ele=MTAx

Where could I find this specific track in mp3, mod, wav, CD-Audio, etc… or any other audio formats?

Any help will be highly appreciated
Thanks in advance

Are you 100% sure about that? If you only listened to the mods in a player, there could be some patterns outside of the 'main' loop. Worth to load them in a mod editor and have a look

OK, I listened to the mod files in Winamp and it only plays the "main loop" of each track, not the 2nd pattern.
I think that the Boss track that I'm interested in, is inside the ARABIAN-6.MOD.
So which would be the best mod editor to separate the Boss track from the main loop as a separate mod file?

Thanks in advance

If my ears don't mistake me the music you are looking for is the subsong no 1 of mod.level6. Concerning the transfer it into a seperate mod file... No idea. :-) In case you need an ogg or mp3 you might check out uade. /e: Use Protracker on WinUAE or on an real Amiga. I'm told Milkytracker should be able to edit the file too, but don't expect it to support protracker mods for 100%

Ok, I found the Arabian Nights Boss track here
http://fonix.dyndns.org:40000/soamc/...an&did=49&#did

It looks like that many Amiga mod files have various sub-tracks which Winamp will not play or identify and this specific Boss track, turned out to be the 2nd sub-track of Level6.mod.
mod.arabian_nights_(music_6)_T02.mp3
So I got it high quality mp3 instead now!

But I would still like to know, which would be the best mod player or editor to separate the Boss track from the main loop as a separate mod file?

I also found the R-Type II (Amiga) music tracks
http://fonix.dyndns.org:40000/soamc/...&sl=&sis=N%2FA
How ever the Boss track seems to be cut!
“mw.r-type_ii_T03.mp3”
R-type ii 3/12 ORG
It only lasts for 6secs!
Is there any other place to get this specifc R-Type II Boss track?

Also what kind of player or plugins for Winamp do you need to play these tracks?

You can find Martin Walker's R-Type II (http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/R-Type_II) or Rudolf Stember's Mr. Nutz (http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Mr._Nutz_-_Hoppin'_Mad) on Exotica. Both are formats with subsongs.

You need a player that is able to the Martin Walker and the TFMX Format to replay them:

* On an oldschool Amiga Delitracker or Eagleplayer should do the trick.
* On Unix have a look at UADE.
* On pre Vista Windows you could try out Deliplayer. A Windows port/cygwin of UADE exists but it's command line only. You could try to use XMPlay and the delix plugin. Iirc there was once a Winamp input Plugin for TFMX, but I'm unable to find it. I doubt there is on for Martin Walker. People using Windows might know more Players.

If you are just looking for a streamed format of the tracks used in Mr. Nutz you might find Modlands OGG/MP3 reocdring button handy. http://www.exotica.org.uk/mediawiki/...arch&qs=mrnutz

Told you Glad you found it and you can 'extract' the subsongs with any MOD editor (Amiga ones preferred). Just trim the unwanted stuff and you're set.
