Finally pulled the trigger on a Fighter Duel Pro (2) I was watching on e-bay.
I wasn't sure, but then I pulled out my copy of Fighter Duel Corsair vs Zero and noticed (I had forgotten) that it was missing the original disk 1.
This auction had all the FD Pro floppies, and for some reason Corsair vs Zero disk 1. ;-)
It also comes with both the Fighter Duel Pro manuals.
I liked that because Fighter Duel Pro used manual based protection and I couldn't find any copies of the manual online.
(Needless to say I'll be scanning that...)

I also bought another gotek (which I flashed with Flash Floppy) recently. I have since ordered some OLEDs and rotary encoders so I can set those up.
One on my A1000 and one on my A500 (which I might sell after that; with the A1200 and the A1000, I virtually never use the poor 500).

I love how cheap electronics on e-bay are, but man the wait times for delivery.
Good thing is that sometimes it takes so long I forget what I ordered and it is like Christmas when something finally shows up. ;-)

Cups, mugs, plates / bowls, cutlery, bin, pots / pans, toaster, kettle etc... so far £500 spent and still need some expensive stuff like a microwave and vacuum...

Not fun when you move into a house that's supposed to be furnished; yet it isn't as the owner took all their stuff out but didn't replace as we were told they would

Not today but no so long ago a Super Nintendo Entertainment System for my kids.

Except that :
- ALL games are in English - written in SMALL () letters in the box (not everybody speak English, especially kids !!! #!?@ ) ;
- no game manual is included (need to go to Internet),
- power supply is not included

this mini system is good ! and the kids are already enjoying/mastering some of the included games.
This stuff is a good motivation for them to finish their homeworks

! Wonderful !!! Never heard of it . Nice picture

Thankfully my kids are nice enough not to need such locker (well, when I am with them ).
Fortunately also because such lock does not exist for Amilator or WinUAE

It reminds me a friend of mine that was using so much the home phone (there was no mobile phone at that time) that his father put a phone lock.

I finally got it. Pandora's Box 6 has arrived.
It emulates FBA-Mame-PSX games. It's possible to add other games via pen drive, connecting it to a PC. FBA and Mame games are ok, Psx games that I've tried many do not work, however I recommend it.

Malko, did you know you can easily flash some more games on to it?
Including some fan translations of games!

What languages would you like games in, apart from English?

On Topic:

I bought an Atari ST official (as in sold with hardware) software pack/bundle.
The "Family Curriculum Pack". Which is not very useful, probably, but still! It's something I always wanted, back in 199x, when it was released.

What's the language of the menus and game descriptions?

I was thinking about getting a Pandora 5s a while ago but it was all korean, so I didn't buy it.

Today I got a Quickshot QS-138F in the mail. Pondering on possible ways to mod it...

I've just bought a Commodore monitor 1084s-d1. These things aren't cheap and the sending will cost you another arm -if you've got any left-... This is a refurbished unit from Germany, made in Korea.

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/m6MAA...Ys/s-l1600.jpg

Do not worry, I've got some peroxide and a lot of sun for free.

I knew that I had to buy one sooner than later. If you want to use a Commodore 128 for example, you in fact will like to use an original monitor -I guess-. In my case I just couldn't help myself anymore and now I'll be able to have the Full experience. Ehhh... well, if it arrives intact

Well, I'll use that tube as long as I can, just the same that you will be using your C128's chips . At least I'll have the experience.

In Spanish we've got a phrase: "Que me quiten lo bailao"; "Now remove from me what I've already danced"

I also have got another solution to avoid the stripings with my C128. But I just want to have an original monitor. In any case thanks a lot for both great links

I just think that these old monitors do prefer to be used than staying in an attic or a museum. That's my idea

i didnt say not use all electronics need to be used or at least turned on every now and then
im just saying i wouldnt be buying today to use full time
unless you can repair crt's
back in the day you had repair shops every block today you be hard pressed to find someone if you cant yourself
and its a dangerous job if you dont know what you are doing as it can kill you
10k's of volts in that flyback

but who knows maybe in the future it may be easy to replace the tubes 1 can only hope
3d printers or better who knows we maybe be able to repair everything easily nano bots etc
hope those will fix the yellow plastic abs too

I know what you are talking about. I had that same feeling, those worries when turning something on when I was owning a BPPC&BVision in my desktop miggy. It was all so expensive that I was very scared when turning my Amiga on... Edit: 2.000€ ?. I just didn't like that at all.

BTW, if you own a Blizzard then you are in the same situation; it will last while it lasts. There is no more Phase5 on Facebook, you know?

But this is different at least by now. They aren't -these monitors- as much expensive. 190€ this one.

BTW as we are changing page I'll repeat a great link repairing one. And yep, as it is so difficult and also so risky, he took four videos to try to fix it. I hope that you like scary movies and I won't spoil the end -oh, well, some components die, sorry to tell, but I won't tell which ones -.
