Saw Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans

Only see if you like the first two of course; it is nothing new but also nothing worse either - the quality of the imagery, story and acting is right on par with the previous installments. This time no Kate Beckinsale in tight leather however, it is the story of Lucian, Sonja and Viktor and... the rise of the Lycans!

The only problem with this movie is that it is a prequel and if you have seen the first two movies, you know exactly what is going to happen leaving no surprises at all. I like how it all fits neatly into the lore of the first two movies however, the only plot holes being that some key characters seem to be missing in this installment that should have been running around already.

A good action flick and worthy to add to the collection, IF you like the Underworld movies.

I watched Like Minds.

It is a clever little movie with an aura of ickyness that gets under your skin. Nice acting. Not a terribly original movie, but intriguing enough to want to watch from start to finish, where you are going to be severely let down by the terrible ending; the inspiration must have run out, or it is intentionally weak to fuck with your head. I don't know, but it is lame.

Oh yeah, and I saw Casino Royale. This was the second attempt, the first time I fell asleep halfway through it. If you care to watch it until the end, it is actually half-decent. But my god, the torture scene... it is INHUMAN to put that in a movie. I felt every blow!

Just saw Kill Bill 2 for the umpteenth time.

So which one do you like the most, if any?

Kill Bill 1 - a blood splattering ode to ye olde Asian fighting movies with a mixture of cool and annoying tunes, lots of gore, wacky characters and lots and lots of fun.

Kill Bill 2 - a cooler, far less bloody addition that uses every Quentin Tarentino trick in the book, multiple times at that. A beautiful little tale that focuses more on story telling than on hacking, slashing and butch talking. What it lacks in flying limbs, it more than makes up in surprises.

So? So? Which one do you like more?

Just seen "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" and was pleasantly surprised.

It is a thoughtful movie, of innocence and the ending, even though predictible will leave a lump in your throat!

I saw A Knights Tale. I was presently surprised that this movie is actually very funny, beautifully made and is full of cool music! One of the better Hollywood movies out there in my opinion.

@ gimbal
It´s worth the money, the movie is very well balanced, Story/Action/Special FX, even my wife liked the movie, and believe me when i mentioned star trek i almost had to drag her to the cinema with me.
