I wish someone made a proper device to add controls to an iPhone or iPad. Putting your mitts on screen and covering the play area is ridiculous. Many games go for this option but conversions like this usually fail because at some point you cover vital screen area (specially on an iPhone)

Whoah! The third one looks great.
Does software need to support it? That's the main problem. |

Yeah, software does have to support it which is a problem but there are is a growing list of supported titles here...
http://www.ionaudio.com/products/icade-games So all of the iCade models should work with that list and there are some awesome games on there like Jeff Minter's iOS games, Edgar Vigdal's Warblade (an update of Amiga's Deluxe Galaga) and I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Jamie Woodhouse would be adding support to his iOS port of Qwak and future releases (can't remember where I read that though, possibly twitter). I'll definitely be getting one of these and supporting it for our future iOS titles. |

Is iCade mobile compatible with the other iCade which is quite silly?

Yeah, all the iCade models are compatible with each other, so iCade mobile will work with any iCade compatible game.
