This is just a general note

I understand TOSEC is followed by different people so, this can happen

But the "doscopy" annotation is treated with too many tags

First of all sometimes a disk is doscopy but TOSEC doesn't report it

But, especially, 3 different tags are used for this kind of disk: a, b and m

I really think that it should be treated always in the same way

About the right tag, well, i can't help since i really don't know the meaning of doscopy

Anyway, this is just a report of what i spotted

This is of cours true, this is a heritage of early TOSEC releases
, a time before ADF-Workshop where it was not that easy to recognize.

No , either [m] or [b]
Probably this [a] named sets are
leftovers of early TOSEC releases too.

Once again!?
A Doscopy writes data to rootblock(880), no problem for DOS-Disks, thats why the Disks are named [m doscopy]
but on NDOS disks a Doscopy overwrites DATA, so [b doscopy].

Hi jrom and thanks for your suggestions

But how to rename this disk?
- Genesia (1993)(Mindscape)(Disk 1 of 3)(Configuration Disk)[cr BLH].adf ?
- Genesia (1993)(Mindscape)(Disk 1 of 3)(Configuration Disk)[cr CSL][f Loader BLH].adf ?
- Something completely different?

I prefer the first to preserve the relation to the third disk to use (maybe remove the crystal intro?).

The other CSL disks 1 and 3 should be marked as [b crack].
The CSL Config disk isn't bad and the Backlash version isn't really a fix either...
The new "Loader" file changes the "startup-sequence" of disk 2 to launch the fix patch
Because of the dependency with disk 2, I named the Config disk:
Genesia (1993)(Mindscape)(Disk 1 of 3)(Configuration Disk)[cr CSL][f crack Backlash]

Thanks but I always prefer to integrate a version that already exists :

To use abbreviations of a group name, we never based ourselves on the filenames, but on the use of the abbreviation by the group in its own realizations

I do not have much time but I am always interested in your suggestions ^^

@mai
It might be interesting to make a list of files that would need to be moved. You spot any of them?

Just spotted this one in the Demo \ Various section:
Speed (1993-04-10)(Sim Productions)(Disk 1 of 4)

Well, actually, the 4th disk is not used
I tried different configurations but demo always stop after the 3rd disk is inserted

So it seems a 3 disk demo set
Can someone confirm it ?

I probably found a dupe in the TOSEC archive

This one

http://grandis.nu/eabsearch/search.p...xclude=&limit=

as you can see the same demo is present both under "Animation And Videos" and under the "Various" section

That's all !

Its not that helpful to post any information based on assumptions!

Just use current TOSEC release!
Both are in
