Post most annoying amiga game

whats your most annoying game.........well probably not the most annoying but i get really annoyed with treasure island dizzy, mainly because you only get 1 life.

games nowadays on modern consoles are a little too easy with continue after continue......it was never like that back in the day,it was 3 lives then game over back to the start.

Tom and the Ghost for me. That game should have been good but my god the dodgy controls kill it. "You forgot about Tom!" Yeah that's because he kept jumping up and down the stairs in stead of listening to me!

I can't imagine there wasn't a thread like this already btw.

Searched for "annoying" and drew a blank.

Searched for "frustrating" and bingo!

Shadow of the beast 1&2 were pretty annoying.

Great graphics and atmosphere which would keep you hooked, but annoying game play.

Other annoying games got thrown back in the draw and weren't bothered with.

The computer controlled player 2 in Chaos Engine single player mode.
I always start a 2 player game and let the baddies kill the twit so I can play in peace without him running about knicking my stuff.

That's why you should play those with another human and not the computer Then they're quite a bit of fun.

Your companions lack of any common sense in the AGA version of Bubble & Squeak. That version had graphics as good as the Megadrive but was let down by the AI bug.

I hope one day somebody will patch the ECS AI onto the AGA version. Ultimate Bubble & Squeak

Because Europeans are way better gamers, they don't need such weak mechanisms to beat a game.

Gobliins 2 has some annoying moments. Basically all the timed 'team' puzzles, but especially the one where you have to get a cockroach twice in the same tedious and lengthy way. Not to mention the puzzle design is mainly based on trail-and-error. Not very frustrating, but surely annoying

But IMO less annoying than Gobliiins where you can also run out of health. I don't like to be punished for being curious in a puzzle game!

The health issue is annoying, but you 'just' start the screen again with the password and play up to the point where you can fool around again The 'you have half a second to click here and then half a second to click there' situations in Gobliins 2 are more annoying, though the health in Gobliiins is certainly a bad game design decision...

Rick "F**king" Dangerous (to give it its full name). That special breed of game that seems to openly take pride in screwing you over, again and again.

It could be difficult, but all the stages are linear, so if you learn each level it can be easy enough. Learn where spikes appear, boulders falling from the ceiling etc. The enemies are exactly the same with exactly the same pattern each time. It just needs practice and patience.
