I should think it won't affect you unless you previously installed graphics or raytracing programs that take advantage of that FPU. They may now not run if the FPU is not there. You may have to install 'standard' versions of the relevant software. But if you are only playing games, I can't see any problems arising. Can anyone name a game (not an emulator) that uses the FPU?

There was a flight sim that used it, but it also had a non fupu version as well

I think it was called THX, but I'm not too sure about that...

@ Reblade

You weren't the only one who had trouble with it: I couldn't get it to run properly on my MKII 060.
If I remember correctly, the standard version was faster than the FPU version !! (At least it was on the 060.)

tfx, THX, hey, I'm dyslexic

Ran fine on my A4000 w/ CS MKII 040, and the fpu version was a lot smoother than the std version...

I know some jokes about dyslexia...... This pimp spends his life saving on a warehouse, or the devil worshiper who spent his entire life worshiping Santa.....

My best mate suffers from Dyslexia by the way, he's the one who told me these jokes....

If you can spell dyslexic you're not dyslexic.

TFX had some EXTREMELY nice music on the PC AdLib version by the way. Barry Leitch who made it was so-so on the 64 but with the right sound card he worked miracles! It's truly mindblowing music. If you want to hear it I can recommend the kohina.com web radio!
