Hurrah indeed!
That was one long search...

Amazing it was somewhere where we’ve already looked... like losing car keys

That is amazing!

I remember it.

I looked through loads of magazines looking for it.
Can't believe it was mentioned in 2015.

Good work guys!

...Bit of a let down, really, though.

Nice find. Curious how a 'god' type game like this could fly under the radar because I have never heard of it before.

I remain optimistic!

Lol, Mick kept bumpkin the thread for more than 15 years, and Turrican guessed it right in 2015!

Wow this took some finding. I'll admit I have wracked my brain trying to remember this and looked through many PDF's of old Amiga and Commodore magazines trying to find it without success. Maybe someone should email MICK who started this thread to give him the good news.

Well, his last visit here was on September 26th 2018, so he a PM would probably suffice

Oh damn, Beasts & Bumpkins. Played this one on my old Pentium 120, it was barely playable on it.

It was a weirdo game, a sort of humorous version of Lords of the Realm crossed with the Settlers. You couldn't save during a mission, if you had to quit you had to start over from the beginning of the level the next time. For a sim game, that was pretty off-putting. But it did mean they designed the different missions to not be overly long so it was pretty much a "do I have an hour to kill? Yep, another round!" type of game.

Now I'm on a mission to get a new copy of this game, as 2018 me likes the really hard challenge that this game gave you.

This thread has become a bit of an obsession for me. I'm checking everyday for mickAKA to see this and be overjoyed. But now I'm worried if he's ok.will he ever get to see it.
I hope I'm not bumping this thread in 16 years hoping Mick has seen it.

Maybe the quest for the answer became too much and he has now become a stinking off-grid spoon whittling peasant
