Hunter 060
Has anyone tried Hunter with a 060? In my 1200 the game runs but with extrange colors. I think It's yellow flashing from time to time.

Tried it on mine last night - I get the green ground etc flashing red and some funny colours etc. I haven't had time to try this on my other slower a1200 yet.

I have used NoCache tooltype and the colors are right but the game goes slower.
Also used nommu with right colors but slower too. Last edited by tolkien; 10 March 2016 at 20:09. |

I tried Hunter on A1200 040/40 and get the same or similar color flickering. With NOCACHE it works but it might be slower like tolkien mentioned already.

This is caused by self-modifying code in the drawing routine. I have just fixed this, updated patch will be available soon.

The updated patch for this great game is now available. I have fixed the graphics problems, added RawDIC imagers (one for the main game, one for the save disk), replaced the movep instruction with 060 compatible instructions and made a few other changes. Enjoy.

Is the game smoother then originally when played on 060 + WHDload?

Yes. Game uses CPU and blitter for drawing and the CPU routines benefit from the enabled cache and faster CPU.
