Miami or miamidx
Hi there,
can anybody explain me the differences between miami and miamidx? Which one is "better" for which scenario? Sure it depends on I usually use Genesis, but i want to test miami because if i go offline with genesis it always crashes and i have to reboot... Many thanks. |

MiamiDx is only needed if you have more than one network card and want to build a router.
For a normal user with a standard network connection Miami is the best and easiest. |

I remember MiamiDX was easier to setup, and I used that until switched to Roadshow.

MiamiDX offers VPN connections, nothing else does.
Shame it's not supported any more, probably the best stack ever made on anything with real time GUI configurability. |
