Can't get online with A1200 and EasyNet

I'm having trouble using my A1200 online. I'm using the EasyNet PCMCIA ethernet card (3COM 3CXE589EC) and the EasyNet utility from 2015. I can ping things from the shell and do DNS lookups, but browsers don't work. With AWEB 3.5.08 beta I get:

With IBrowse 2.4 I get

IBrowseNetwork

My A1200 has an Indivision AGA 1200 MK2, CompactFlash IDE drive, and an ACA1233/40 accelerator. It's Workbench version 45.1 and Kickstart version 40.68.

Does anyone know what could be causing the browsers to just fail like that?

no clue offhand. here are two other versions you can test.

#1) it's a long shot, but extract the archives in the ram disk. and start aweb from within ram disk.
archive is about 5.2 mb extracted.
