some suggestions for future winuae versions

about filters, sound and any other sliders:
is it possible adding an option to enter value manually by typing number?
because using the sliders is not very accurate and comfortable to use.

about magic mouse:
please add user definable hotkey to enable/disable magic mouse on the fly?
this would be a nice feature, too! thanks in advance!

Most sliders have very few choices, use cursor keys for accurate adjustment. Or edit config file manually

You can use "custom events" to change any config entry:

Input -> <custom event> -> type something like "magic_mouse=false" or if you want toggle option: "magic_mouse=[1-magic-mouse]" (include also quotes)

Note that magic_mouse option does not work properly on the fly in recent versions.

this may be useless for you but you are not me or anyone else.
i have a reason for asking, so there IS a benefit in this feature.
so if you don't have anything useful to contribute to this topic,
just keep your "pearls of wisdom" to yourself! in short: stfu.

I think you need to not jump on someone..

Toni has asked for USELESS/POINTLESS features.. hence why Steve has commented. His comment is meant in a positive manner, not negative!!

Thanks

We've got emulated scanlines, screen overlays with monitor bezels, advanced pixel filters to emulate CRT glow and color bleeding, and of course floppy drive sounds, just to increase the feeling of nostalgia. I can definitely understand why someone would want HDD sounds.

No...

Head movement is controlled my drive's firmware and would only sound "correct" (=not totally wrong) if drive speed is also accurately emulated and it also depends on drive firmware. Hard drives are black boxes. (Except very early MFM/RLL drives)
