I've completed quite a few games but now a days I do cheat <g>.. however back in the day I did:
Another World - easy Flashback - easy Dungeon Master - took weeks and was solid in places - not knowing about the altar of rebirth (obvious now) at the time was a nightmare trying not to die. Turrican 2 - hard - very hard Bubble Bobble - absolutely solid - first time I completed it, it said bring a friend.. arrgh! Rainbow Islands - again hard... lots of practice needed Speedball 2 - pretty easy once you bought a few players.. Supercars / 2 - pretty easy - rockets rock! Monkey Island - hard in places but very good fun! Darkseed - absolutely solid having to be in the right place at the right time Elite 2 - does getting to Elite mean I've completed it? <G> Xenon 2 - hard in places.. very hard.. SWIV - as above X-Out - pretty easy Turrican - pretty easy if I remember right Last Ninja 2 - fecken hard - especailly some of the jumps And lots more which will come to me soon! |

wow cool thread, with a lot of great games indeed!!!!
ZETR0'S COMPLETED AMIGA GAMES LIST @Bloodwych As i cannot say for sure howmany hours a game had taken me, as this was all so long ago, i am sure i have forgotten so many games i have beaten. I have decided to put down a week type scenario, on average i would play a game a couple of hours a week on average this would make a 3 week time really only 6-8 hours of play. however both my brother and I would also play the same game so we would either, in the case of rpg, share characters or methods in like rts / stratagy. KEYRPG / DUNGEON CRAWLER
RTS / SIMULATION
PLATFORMER / ADVENTURE
FPS / STRATAGY FPP
FANTASY / ADVENTURE
S'HMUP
ISOMETRIC ADVENTURE / ARCADE

That's some list, but anyone who can play all the way through Last Action Hero surely can't be human.

Don't you guys get hopelessly lost in the dungeon crawlers? All the walls look the same, don't they?
Or do you draw a map as you go along? |

Awesome thread, chose this for first post since signing up to this site.
I've completed so many games since my childhood, I'll just list the ones im most proud of: Lemmings (months) Oh no More Lemmings (oh no more months) Lemmings 2 Tribes (months and months) Millenium 2.2 (8 hrs.) Cannon Fodder (days) Lost Dutchmans Mine (years) Mega-Lo-Mania (5 hrs.) Rick Dangerous (weeks) Secret of Monkey Island (days) Dune 2 (days) Syndicate (weeks) Flashback (days) Will list more if I think of any while surfing around here some more. I still have my printed certificate for saving the lemming race at the end of Lemmings in my loft. It took fully 10 mins to print on my old amiga printer, but was worth it! Seeing some peoples lists on here its amazing how fast some people bested games. It was a total swine to find all the map pieces to LDM and Rick Dangerous was just brutal with only 6 lives to start with. I'd count North and South in this list but I felt I cheated, I beat the computer on chessboard mode rather than simulation mode. |

Twinworld (Needs real dedication this one)
Batman the Movie (Such a great game – need to memorize the paths on the platforming levels but it's worth it) The Killing Game Show (left it on overnight and completed the next day) Midnight Resistance (Very easy and tons of fun!) Marble Madness Myth (Love this game, so fun to complete and fairly easy) Lemmings All the Dizzys. Xenon II Pang Turrican I / II James Pond 2: Robocod Cannon Fodder I / II (The first one is great but frustrating on later levels when your team start wasting grenades, II is crap especially the last level) Silly Putty (Easy) Another World (Easy) / Flashback Second Samurai CJ’s Elephant Antics (Lots of fun this one) Clockwiser (one of my fave puzzlers) Troddles (A great Lemmings clone) Benefactor Golden Axe (fairly easy) Bubba n’ Stix Crazy Sue Zool I / II Odyssey (The most epic platformer on the Amiga IMO. The game becomes deeper and deeper the more you play as you gain the various animal shapeshifting abilities and eventually combining them) No way did you finish New Zealand Story without a cheat Hungry Horace! I finished it with a cheat and that is totally impossible, surely!!! |
