Does winUAE recognise an SCSI hard disk?
I have a 1200 I am planning on upgrading and using to mainly play games off WHDload.
I know that with windoze XP, winUAE allows you to format, prep and add files to an IDE hard disk that can then be transplated to a real miggy. In my case, I want to connect my PC to an external SCSI tower, which in turn connects to my 1200. That way I can use winUAE to install WB and add software to the SCSI HD, which in turn my real 1200 reads off. Will this work? If not, after formatting the SCSI HD on the 1200 itself, could I just copy over files from the internal PC HD to the amiga partioned portion of the externally housed SCSI? WinUAE should see the drive. There is no difference between IDE, SCSI, USB or whatever, as long as Window recognises it. (But don't format it in Windows !)

Thanks Thomas. I'll format it in winUAE. I have ordered most of the bits and pieces and willl test it out in a few weeks.
