Have fun!

On two disks instead of one? Why? Because of little, simple cracktro?

No, but I think it should be on one because you must swap disks in odd moment and decrunching of intro is visible as horizontal lines. It should not be like that in commercial game.

Yep would be great to have the intro on one disk. I however downloaded the two disks from the zone but im having a problem loading them. I insert the disk into winuae using standard A500 config then it loads into the crack screen presenting the game so after leftclicking the mouse it starts loading again but only gets to track 31 then stops and all these multi colour flickering lines go across the screen. anyone else have this?

Yup, at that moment you have to change the disks (put the second one in DF0: ) and press fire. After that it still takes some time till the intro starts, but it works. This is what s2325 meant with 'you must swap disks in odd moment'
It would be really great to have a working one disk version of the intro

There was some discussion about getting a good crack of Awesome some time ago as none of the available versions with the intro work afterwards:

... Awesome
... Awesome Intro Disk in ADF format

Unfortunately I don't think anyone has had the time to recrack this

Also, I remember someone saying that the intro (which is usually on 1 original disk) contains long tracks is unable to fit on a standard sized disk after being cracked.

Thanks for the info Damien
StingRay told me about the longtrack issue when we talked about the Wrath of the Demon crack. Is it right that an extended ADF is capable of holding this extra information?

Unfortunately I'm no expert on the issue. I'm sure someone else will be able to clarify though

Yes (but it can't do "flakey bits" or different bitcell lengths)

I have awesome in original form. Do you want my intro disk in ADF extended ?

OK, i'll do that !

The intro disk (at least mine is using $4489 as sync from track 01 to 79 and use a track length of $180C).

On a real amiga, you'd need a good packer, to make datas ok on 1 disk.
