Yeah, I hate it when that happens. I was a 2K short of my current best when I was forced to collect a snail icon which then sent me to my death Made it to level 19. I would love to wrap the game twice and get a score around 140K.

That's a good score
I would like to see you in the 100K club though.

I don't know how Parpala, eMTe and premmisseth are doing in my group, but after 9 hours play today I finally managed to better my previous score. However, I still failed to loop it twice - I made it to level 20.

Let me remind you some rules that were mentioned here:

"Remember you have to enter this round to have any chance of playing later on - but please only enter if you feel you will be able to commit to playing the full tournament (this is important, too many people who qualify and then don't take part in the later rounds which spoils the competition)."

So far four contestants didn't post their score...

I guess there's still a little time. We should hopefully see a couple more scores before end of play.

I had to really push myself to even bother making the first attempt with this game, let alone a second attempt. It's the dullest game I ever played on the Amiga.

You must of been utterly suicidal by the 16th attempt, thanks for putting in the hard yards with this god awful game!

Hang on a minute, the only round you competed in this year was Test Drive 2... really? worse then test drive 2?

Graham will be suicidal now

I gave my group a nudge on the Lemon thread a few days ago and only Parpala responded. Parpala has now posted a score this morning. Still no word (or scores) from eMTe and premmisseth though...

Edit: Almost forgot, akabei has also been playing this, but was not particularly good at it. Hopefully time has helped akabei get further into the game.

Last edited by Lonewolf10; 27 December 2013 at 13:26. Reason: forgot about akabei!

I love Test Drive 2! Goes to show how subjective it all is. One man's rubbish...

Well, I was when I played Test Drive 2 Actually most of the games in this year's League were pretty underwhelming!

But hey, we can't all like everything can we. Even supposed 'classics' like Turrican have their detractors (like me) so what chance does our little game have I'm always glad to see people play it though even if they don't like it - it's never going to appeal to everyone.

Nicely played. Genuine apologies for seeming to stick you in a duff group every year...!
