Some Games wont Run from my Gotek now i Have a CF Card and WB3.1 Installed in my 1200

I can't get some of the Games I Play all the time to run now since I have installed a CF Card with WB3.1 installed. My Gotek Would play all of the Games that now wont play when I didn't have my CF Card installed

If anybody could suggest a Cure to this Problem then you are Gods

was thinking maybe its the KS3.0 Roms? or do I need to now run the Games through Relokick maybe? So Strange

Booting from Gotek is the same as booting from a real floppy disk... this bypasses the CF card so it should not be having any affect on things. Have you added an accelerator or ram card?

Did you try before with an A500 and are now trying with a 1200? They are not fully compatible.

Just guessing here, your description of the whole scenario is lacking in detail.

I was Playing Games on the Gotek On the 1200 Before I installed the CF Card and they were Playing Fine i.e Alien Breed, Crime City etc But now I have a CF Card And WB 3.1 Installed on the CF Card in the Machine, My Gotek Won't Work with Some Games it just BlackScreens Software Failure Press Left Mouse Button to Continue. Alien Breed 1,2 and 3D, Crime City and a Few other I Cant remember From the top of My head. Its Confusing but it seems the Drives are Conflicting with Some Games as the Hard Drive Light Flashes Before Software Failure Blackscreen Arises.

I hope this Makes a Little More sense

Put your computer back into the old state (no cf) and try booting from gotek again games that won't longer work in this state. Once confirmed the gotek is working well add one thing at a time to figure out the main cause of the problem.

Make sure the Max transfer on the CF is set to 0x1fe00 or lower. If it's not, you will get errors.

Change the Max transfer by using HDtoolbox, you can change it without it affecting the partition and whatever is installed on it.
This thread gives you all the information you need. http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=61666

As for it affecting the Gotek, it shouldn't do. What will, is if your disk buffers are set too high. Each drive connected takes about 30k of RAM before buffers, if the buffers added after eat up the RAM it won't leave you enough memory to run a lot. The buffers can also be adjusted by HDtoolbox without affecting the partition. Just remember after changing the Max transfer and buffers to press the return key or it won't be changed.

80 or 100 is what I usually use, but I use 20 and 40Gb hard drives. Neither may be anything to do with your problem, but it's worth checking to make sure. It's also always wise to know what your settings are.

Should be a box labelled 'Buffers' on the main screen showing you all the partitions on the drive. Bottom left usually.
