CIA 391078-01 in an A1200 1D.4

Button released:
--*- --*-

Button pressed:
***- --*-

If I press the button repeatedly it prints any of these, if it's useful to know:
--*- --*-

Thanks. Still need non -01 CIA results.

Pattern changing temporary when pressing/releasing can be ignored, it happens because after each test there is 2 frame delay.

EDIT: non -01 is really needed because it -01 prevents Amiga to "see" what pad button voltage level is in output mode.

Bump for official CD32 pad test

Conclusion so far (without official pad test): Either CIA "type" and at least Boomerang pad allows full fire button software override if pad is in CD32 mode.

Not in CD32 mode or normal joystick: full software override only possible if -01 CIA. If other CIA type: fire button IO state can't be forced to non-pressed (1) if button is physically pressed.

(CD32 mode: POTGO button3 (pin 5) output=1 and data=0. CIA fire button IO: output=1, data=<wanted button state>.)

I own an original Commodore CD32 PAD, my result on an A1200 1D.4 C= 030/OS39BB4:

CIA 391078-01

***- --*-

Is this CIA the cause of most CD32/2Button Pads on Amiga 1200 2B and some 1D.4 Commodore which non recognize correctly the pad under lowlevel.library ?

I have a RysMk2 which together a USB pad works perfect in CD32 pad mode on any Amiga 1200 (1D and 2B).
so there is a workaround to have a working CD32 pad on some problematic A1200 revisions.

I don't know, need confirmation if all problematic systems have only -01 or -02 CIAs.

My A1200 have 391078-01 CIA:

CD32 pad ok:
- 391078-01 0394
- 391078-01 0794
- 391078-01 0693

CD32 pad bug:
- 391078-01 0494
- 391078-01 1293

All these motherboards are re-capped.
Only RysMk2 in CD32 pad mode works well through lowlevel.library in all motherboard i have, even on 2B revision.
