Lotus III Whdload Password protection screen.

Hi.

My version of whdload lotus 3 has a password screen before the intro. Game is from Retroplays set.

Is there anyway to remove it or be able to skip it with joystick button press?

The only way is press enter on keyboard which is annoying if the keyboard is far away from you.

Just had a look, it's definitely possible. Problem is that there are 3 versions supported in the patch and I can only find one of these. Adapting the patch for one version only doesn't make much sense.

I will have to make up my mind about it but to be honest I don't like to add this feature for one version only.

Why not create 2 different slaves then in a single installer? Wouldn't be the first WHDLoad game that did it in this way.

Nah. No need for that and it still doesn't make sense as it wouldn't solve the real problem.

I have updated the Lotus 3 patch and the manual protection screen is now completely skipped in the SPS217 version.

Sting the game seems to have a kback issue as well. thanks for this, CD32 users will be pleased.

Had a quick test and I must say Job WELL DONE. password screen has gone.. Thanks again you talented man!!

What do you mean with kback issue?

I've also added 68000 quitkey support if that is what you're referring to?

My pleasure, it was not much work.

Once I got hold of the other 2 supported versions I'll update the patch again.
