Right settings for laptop use

I want to use winUAE on my laptop PC, but I can't get the trackpad to work properly. I've tried all the combinations on the Port 0 - Port 1 settings (Mouse*\Windows mouse\hackmouse\etc...) even swapping ports, but it runs correctly only with certain games, on a random basis.
Which are the right settings?

I have never had any problems with WinUAE and laptop trackpads.

Perhaps some driver setting? Synaptics pad? (tried updating drivers?)

You mentiond port one, are you trying to use the touchpad as a joystick?
