Well, yes and no. It's the best place on the web to get GBC roms. The best place on the net to get them is usenet....

I have a GBA, but the games are a bit steep at £30-50 a time :eek (a bit less than the console itself!)
Thoguh chaos engine would rule, also Duke Nukem, GTA 3, and Driver 2 are comming out for the GBA too ( :hoo :eek ) |

GTA 3? Driver 2? Perhaps I am underestimating the power of the GBA, but is that possible?

Although it is nice in one respect to see these old Amiga classics reappear again,can you honestly say they'll be better to play on GBA than the original Amiga version's?

Better, worse, or the same, you won't be able to play the Amiga versions on the train (without an expensive laptop, WinUAE and fingers crossed that the emulation is up to the task)!

Ive had a play with Desert Strike Advance and it looks like a direct port. You even get the 'glitch' in the scrolling that you got with the amiga / megadrive version.
Shame it hasnt got new missions (as far as I can tell) etc.. cause its a case of 'seen it all before' |

64Mbit - most common (8 Megabytes == ~7.6 Mebi-bytes)
128Mbit - some big games 256Mbit - none yet? 1024Mbit - theorecial maximum - i.e. the addressing space allocted by the system for ROM cartridges (128 Megabytes == ~122 Mebibytes) Last edited by fiath; 14 May 2002 at 11:23. |

32 Mbit & 64 Mbit are the most common game size.
just a few 128 Mbit game have been released (Bomberman Max 2, Tsukihime, Snap Kids...) we expect future big game to be 256 Mbit (same size as "Zelda: ocarina of time" for N64) |

I sure hope they fill those 256Mbit with proper games, and not with stupid gfx-heavy rehashes like, (let's hope this game NEVER happens!) Killer Instinct advance. |

Also, look out for Duke Nuken 3D for the GBA.. My mate had a job interview recently with the company that is making it and he actually got to play it on the real thing and says its awesome.

I saw on Revolution's website that there's a possibility Beneath A Steel Sky might receive a "mobile" translation. Though I admit I'm more looking foward to seeing Broken Sword 3.
To keep on-topic though,it seems like the GBA version of Broken Sword 1 has a few annoying bugs in it-a pity,because it's a great game otherwise,(Speaking from the PC version). |
