Nope, totally different development teams and inspirations. Witchwood was cancelled finally because of Speris Legacys sudden appearance.

Hmmm... strange... I have a screenshot of Witchwood and it remind me heavily Speris Legacy... Only the sprite is different...

Yikes! That was me writing that, flashback time You have no idea how disappointed I was not to see that game get finished, I idolised Team 17, getting that contract was like winning the lottery. There's a bit of a disaster story around it all though and I dont want to fling any mud as Team 17 were great to me while I was there.

And reading about Witchwood, somehow I have a chunk of the source and gfx for that on a disc somewhere. That was a tragedy!

Welcome to EAB! I don't suppose you have any of the source, graphics or at least real screenshots from Final Over do you? Bjorn kindly sent the music for the game but that's all we have found so far. Is there any kind of playable version of the game? Does the source still exist?

I'm sure everyone on here would love to know any further information you can provide about it (without any mud-slinging!) - what percentage complete did it get to?

Witchwood does look superior, Speris Legacy was an atrocious game.

I believe from reading various threads on EAB that Bobic sent the only copy to Galahad. Galahad moved houses and has been unable to find the disk

Anybody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...

Send a message via MSN to Joe Maroni
i forgot to note that i was in contact with Steven James Noake (the graphic artist of the Daemonsgate/Dämonenburg and Raiden) months ago.

he advised me to get in contact with Nigel Kershaw who was the lead artists of the game. i have the email adresses of both guys but never got a reply from Nigel...

i think is should contact him again...

Isn't Nigel Kershaw the guy who made Motorstorm for PS3. Then some UK guy might visit him at his new job.

http://www.evos.net/contact-us.aspx

They are near Runcorn
