I cannot beleive that I missed not only this thread, but also the original thread!!!

Truly Amazing!!!!

I have to ask, was it just the cache holding you back from the Supervisor on boot?

I have to admit tnt23 this has seriously imspired me to get down and dirty with some verilog!

alexh has provided me with some FPGA's and a devboard, and hell I have more blinkety blinking leds than 100 christmas trees =D

A truly Awe-inspiring project! and its one I do hope that you are proud of!!!

so where are you going to tak it now?

thought about 200pin SODIM ? =D

I'm afraid not on this board, unless you manage to stack a pile of them SDRAM chips on top of each other to get 1GB and then solder enough chipselects to rule them

I knew Zetr0 you'd like it

I'll see if I can fit more RAM chips on the board without any serious rerouting or going 4 layers. Also alexh mentioned throwing an AHI compatible card in there, that might be fun (and some Kick kicking and perhaps IDE/SD interfacing, you name it).

Looking at SODIMMs would probably be better then soldering separate memory chips on the board, but it'd depend on the price. I got one 64MB chip for roughly $20, so you can guess what 256M or 512M bank will be.

Should you want to dig Verilog on Amiga, grab the sources at the project's site (http://code.google.com/p/z3sdram/). The schematics and PCB will find their way into the repository soon.

First then there has been a bug with DQM lines, but I think main problem was with not registering (resampling) some input Zorro signals.

It's a Zorro III RAM card for A3000/A4000 computers, carrying up to 64MB of memory. Check the link in the first post for more info.

Count me as interested in one board! Even the 64Mb will be more than enough to my Amiga aspirations.

My first Zorro-3 Amiga! Equipped with brand spanking new hardware. Yay!

@r6stu: no. Zorro-2 have 8Mb RAM as the maximum amount. No circumvents for this issue.
