WINUAE & Controllers

In desperate need of an emulator to run some games as my A1200 isn't working properly (the joys of doing a weekly Amiga podcast

), I've installed WINUAE but hit a bit of a stumbling block with controllers. I have an Xbox one and PS3 pad, XB controller shows up and lets me test but there's a weird delay whenever I press fire. In one game (Batman the Movie) it's impossible to actually fire as Bats just doesn't respond. The button is def being recognised as it shows his batarang but nothing more. The stick and Dpad move characters perfectly fine.

I'm not using it wirelessly and plugged it into a USB 3 slot at the back of the PC.

With the PS3 pad it shows in WINUAE and the buttons respond during testing but nothing happens in the program, like it's not there.

I also tried Amiga Forever which lets me select the controllers (Xbox One even shows up as selectable) but the buttons do nothing. The pads def work as I used both in other PC games.

Attach winuaebootlog.txt (connect both controllers, run winuae.exe, exit, log is in same dir as exe, if not, check Paths panel for directory)
