I have a problem with Apollo 1040 as well.

It loads WB (not always) and then later it stops.

It has 32MB EDO ram module. I tried 2 different 16MB modules but non of them worked at all. I have couple other modules, but they can't feet because of chip holder on the card.

Not sure if I have to change some of the switches on the card.

Amiga works fine without memory or without card.
Is there any instructions or with manual for this card??

My Apollo 1240 with 060 chip was horribly unstable. But then I modifyed my A1200 motherboard and now it is stable as a rock! And damn how cool the 060 runs!

Motherboard revision was 1D4.

I saw motherboard revision topic early, but I've lost it. Time to dig that up. I think that I have the same revision.

@ Mike UK - I am using ClassicWB.

1d.4 (last Commodore) and 2B (Amiga Tech) have the bus timing fault prob. There's a doc on the Aminet with instructions to fix it; each board has a different fix, and it involves cutting off resistors and wiring things together. Different accelerators have different success rates with these boards, but as a general rule 040/060 accelerators don't play nice with these two revisions of motherboard.

You can find how to fix it here --->Link
BTW, I have an Amiga 1200 MB rev2B which included the fixes done by the manufacturer.
