How much? Amiga 1200, Amiga 600, Amiga games and loads more.

Hi everybody, I feel bad joining the forum to ask how much all of this Amiga stuff is worth but I've inherited a massive bundle of Amiga retro-gaming stuff and am a bit confused on the prices.
I figured you guys are the experts and could help.

I have an Amiga 1200, Amiga 600, loads of games, drives and all sorts! It's all been in the loft for years in a suitcase under a blanket.

I've looked around and prices for Amiga stuff seem to vary wildly on Ebay and I'm just wondering:

1. How much is all of this worth?
2. Would I be better selling it all as single items or just bundle it all together?
3. Is it worth me using that 'Retr0bright' thing to make the computers white again (and thus worth more?)

I've attached photos and info I have put together. I've also put the attachments, list of games and photos of games if you'd like to see them on 'UploadFiles' as it was too big to put here, you can download it at: https://ufile.io/mbapv

Again, sorry if it seems I'm spamming the forum, that is not my intention at all; I know you guys love Amiga stuff and am just picking your brains.

I only use emulation

Anyway, welcome to the forum

If you list them as working then I would say 100 to 130 for the Amiga a600. For the a1200 I would say 200 to 250. I don’t think retro bright will help much but clean them up.

As you say prices vary wildly depending on:
Working or Not,
Condition, Boxed (does not interest me),
Extras (like RAM, Joystick, External Drive)
and how many are for sale at that particular time.

For me Retro-Bright is a No No, others may disagree.

I think you would probably raise more as several lots.

I see you guys are not fans of Retrobright? Do you prefer to do the cleaning yourselves then (I know I would). Do you think I should just bundle the lot and sell it on Ebay? From what you've said and my research into the prices of the games I have there has got to be over £500 worth of gear! That's crazy!

I’m personally not a fan but respect those who choose to.

Your Amigas look nice so no real need for you to clean.

If you bundle it, the chances are you won’t make as much compared to individual and it’s highly likely one of ebays refurbishers will buy it, clean it up a bit and sell it on for more individually. If I were in your shoes I would just sell the a600 and a1200 separately with a few games bundled and a joystick. Then any games worth over 15 and disk drives I would sell separate.

Thanks Gordon. I have listed the most rare games on Ebay and will be testing the computers tomorrow. It looks to me though that I only have enough wires for one of the Amigas so I'll probably put them both together with the other bits and games and let people bid on them.

From my research I think that's a fair price. The games have to be worth about £100, the A600 £100, A1200 £200 plus the powerpack, wires, mouse, etc, etc. You not think it's a good price?

Fair enough. Since I put it on Ebay we have found more stuff - another powerpack, mouse, loads more blank discs, Workbench, Paint software, books... Do you think we'd be better splitting it up, perhaps into two bundles: one for the 600 plus bits and one for the 1200 plus bits?

Exactly but since I listed it I did find more stuff in the loft (including another PSU but it didn't work) so I've now split the bundle. Sold 5 or 6 games so far so it's going well. (Ebay: ninja-stars)

Hello,
if still for sale, would it be possible to see detailed pictures of Future Wars and D/Generation?
Thanks!

Those floppy disks seem regular PC floppy disks (Double Side High Density), as far as I remember Amiga Floppy disks were Double Side Double Density.
They can still be used on Amiga but aren't the best choice and it would be highly suggested to close the second hole for higher compatibility.

Thanks for the link!
Actually if I click on "See other items" I can't see anything... I suppose that the seller doesn't ship to Italy...
