BBS The Documentary
An excellent snippet of what seems to be an awesome documentary Enjoy reminiscing about our early BBS days. I would love to see the entire thing And i love in particular where it mentions all the different systems of the time including Commodore.

Hi Blade,
They cover the commodore a bit but mostly focus on PC ansii art for their "Scene" stuff. At one point they talk about an "Uzi Suicide" BBS and we have a guy here that ran a BBS called Uzi Suicide but I am not sure if it is the same cat. Anyway, the documentary is awesome, but there is very little Amiga specific coverage. I think the guy switched to creative commons for at least part of the documentary and you can find that on any torrent tracker. Worth the DL for sure. |

@Steve C,
Is this some U.K. slang I am not aware of? Haha, in my area it is an outdated way to say "dude" or "bloke" or "geezer" |

Any one of those alternatives would do. "Cat" is very passé.
But funny. |

I have seen all the episodes of this doco. Very interesting. The best parts (for me) were the interviews with the guy that invented fidonet. That and seeing the actual machine the worlds first BBS ran from. Oh and interviews with the original developers. Oh and.....
Bugger it.... The whole is worth watching. |
