Amiga CD32 questions

Hi peeps,
been thinking of getting a CD32 to put in the lounge - the miggy 1200 is too big to fit under the TV.
Are the games easy to get hold of? and can freeware games be burnt to cd on a normal pc cd burner.
cheers
steve

Yes to all.

But for burning, you would have to compile the games using the CD32 Devkit into an ISO, then burn it.

Alternatively, they can be downloaded from the EAB File Server in the Apps/new apps folder.

Yeh, if its AmiDOS.

Or you could use WHDLoad, as wepl made a CD32 version of WHDLoad.

WHDLoad CD32 needs no key, iirc.

Make sure you try out Super Street Fighter II DX, the custom CD32 version of SSFII that finally boots on the CD32, which was previously thought to be impossible until Viddi and Boo Boo proved otherwise. They used a few tricks to get it working, but it proves what can be done to make even the toughest old games run on the CD32 - http://amigachristmastree.condor.ser..._CD32_V1.1.ISO

DyLucke, it's the AGA version of Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, patched to boot on the CD32, with some of the background graphics fixed up too!

oh! Sounds good... That version had good playability, despite quite poor graphics... Something with that playability but with gfx from the CD32 version would had been awesome.
